Pierre Paquin - Sound Engineer
Pierre has been in the audio recording business for nearly forty years, specializing in recording on-location on symphonic, choral, chamber music as well as jazz on Cape Cod as well as throughout southeastern New England. He was the first to introduce the use of wireless microphones thirty years back for amateur stage productions in his usual working area. His knowledge of classical music is legendary and his recordings are sonic
wonders. Keeping abreast of the latest audio technology is his other quest along with recording a film soundtrack. Witnessing its editing and mixing with
sound effects and music with the very latest film/audio editing equipment sent him into orbit. His classical music recording engineer idol is Kenny Wilkinson,of the Decca/London team, who passed away this year at the ripe old age of 92.
